“ I had a hungover from the weekend, and so I order other food and I also got the thai boat noodle, and the thai boat noodle was very delicious. I recommend for people to go try the thai boat noodle! I also added spicy pepper chili oil not the dry pepper one on my boat noodle bowl and stir it was delicious. I will return again! It was such a hot day and the restaurant does have air conditioner in there which I really liked. Staff are nice. Food came out on time. The noodle was veryyyy long and beautiful!!! No noodles were broken in mines at all! I love the noodles. Meats were just the right quantity. Just this one bowl of boat noodle, and Im perfectly full already. I love the beautiful long noodles please keep the noodles long and beautiful this way!! Yumyum. Will be back as a customer. ”
“ Tried the Thai Boat and it was a wonderful bowl of beef and noodles. The spring rolls a friend ordered looked great. Id highly recommend stopping here if youre in the area! ”
“ In a city filled with quality pho, it is shockingly hard to find a decent bowl of Thai boat noodles. Finally, what University Ave. needed a restaurant focusing on guay tiaw that hits the mark. Be sure to try Moo Manao noodle soup if you like spice! ”
“ Youre stopping here to get the Thai boat noodle dish here, so make sure you get that! Despite being a smaller restaurant with limited seating, it has fast and prompt service. The ownerchef, Teng, stopped by to check in on how the food tasted as well. Wishing the business much success in the future. ”
“ I happened upon Thai Boat 89 while walking towards iPho on University for lunch and thought Id give it a try. I ordered the Thai Bowl 14 and fresh Spring Rolls 6 picture attached and was quite pleasantly surprised by the amount of flavor in the broth and the portion size. The staff is friendly and the restaurant was clean. Excited to come back to try other dishes as well. ”
“ Its a small little business. Everything we had was good. I was very surprised. Definitely would recommend if you are looking for some good boat noodles or pho. ”
“ Craving pho or fried rice or a Phat kaphrao? The food here was great. The boat noodles were well made and deliciously seasoned. If you are boat noodle enthusiast, try it here without any regrets, especially if youre in this part of town. The spring rolls were very well made and made very fresh as you can feel the texture of the crunching cucumber and other ingredients. You wont find a day old spring rolls here! The Pad Kra Pao was great. It is on the spicier side, so let the waiter know if you are not a fan of spicey foods... but it should be had how its cooked bc thats how it should be eaten! The amount of protein you get is very generous, and it was almost difficult to finish by yourself. Parking is shared with other businesses. You have the choice of paid parking on the street of free parking east of the building. The parking lot is easy to navigate through, but come early if you want to snag a parking spot. If you cant find a parking spot, there is street parking available. Overall, a great spot to fill up your Thai cravings. ”
“ I recommend this restaurant. I took my family from Iowa here to eat the Thai boat noodles and my daughter had the Pad Krapow Gai. We enjoyed our meal because it was so delicious and tasted just like Thailand especially the noodles and the rich broth. I promise I will bring my family back for sure. ”
